Betapoly Betacrete is committed to actively supporting the Queensland Governments recommendations and actions to manage Parthenium in our state.

Betapoly Betacrete has implemented a number of procedures to apply the Queensland Weed Spread Prevention Strategy. This strategy lists some of the major pathways which facilitate weed spread including transportation over land.

As Betapoly Betacrete transports it poly range throughout most of Queensland and the Northern Territory, it is very serious about its commitment and the actions it can take to prevent the spread of weeds, and in particular, parthenium.

The many ways Betapoly Betacrete is doing its part to prevent weed spread include washing each of its trucks as they return to the depot after each delivery run.

Betapoly Betacrete encourages all key groups identified throughout the strategy to become familiar with the recommended actions as well as their local government contact. Awareness and action is the key to preventing weed spread throughout Queensland and it’s something we can all take responsibility for together for the future and sustainability of our state and our land.
